Clicking on them all, none of them lead me to the. sh script isn't visible, just the other 5-6 normal file folders that have always been there. I then use my USB stick and transfer the whole game into retropie, including the. sh script file in notepad on my pc and put it in all the text you said. A simple click on the game name within dosbox in emulation station to launch it would be my dream come true!!! But I'd be willing to punch in all that stuff above just to run it as well.Īny help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thank still working on this. I think it should run, it's certainly not graphic heavy, but my question is, how exactly do I do it and what would be the easiest approach? Hoping someone has faced a similar task-getting a game that requires a cd-rom to run on the pi to go (obviously I got around that on my laptop) and hopefully in a way that I don't have to enter in all those strings of commands to get it going. My next project is to see if I can somehow play the game on my pie3. exe command that launches game)Īnd viola! I can now play the game on my laptop without putting my cd in. So basically I now have an Oldtime baseball folder on my laptop with the cd image in it and can launch the game using the following string of commands in DosBox: I used this helpful article to finally get the game going cd-free on my laptop: It has taken me a MONTH to get the game to finally work without using the cd-rom on my laptop in DosBox because it has a protection scheme that demanded the cd-rom to be in the drive to play. So I have a copy of OldTime baseball on CD-Rom that is dos based and I have a Pi3 with RetroPie and Emulation station and dosbox already installed on it. Relative newb here and Hoping someone can help me try to get a mid-90's dos game going on my Pi3.
