Soft soil appears in various locations in Termina. The beans will fully grow when they are watered with Spring Water or the rain from the Song of Storms. In Majora's Mask 3D, the Trading Post sells Magic Beans for 100 Rupees each. The Deku-friendly Business Scrub (who is initially located in the Southern Swamp next to the Swamp Tourist Center, but will move to South Clock Town if Link gives him the Town Title Deed) sells Magic Beans exclusively to Deku Scrubs for 10 Rupees each. After teaching how to use them, he will sell Magic Beans for 10 Rupees each. Upon teaching Link to use Magic Beans, he will give Link one as a free sample. The Bean Seller is located inside a hole at the end of the east side of the Deku Palace garden (in Majora's Mask 3D, this hole has a second entrance, from the outside of the palace on the east side). Link cannot purchase Magic Beans until he has learned how to use them from the Bean Seller. In Majora's Mask, Link can hold a maximum of 20 Magic Beans.
